Spanish for Beginners:

Levels 1, 2, 3, & 4

In these courses you will get a basic introduction to Spanish. Our method of teaching is based on a conversational-cultural approach, which makes language learning fun and interactive.

We incorporate video, music, role playing and news articles into conversation as well as introductory grammar.

Our classes are set in a small group of students (4 to 10 people). Every class is 90 minutes in length and every course lasts 5 weeks.

Once a week: $120.00 + GST (Book $20 + GST, optional) offered Mon-Tue-Wed-Thurs-Sat. at our various locations.

NEW: Create your own Spanish Class. $120 + GST for 5 classes.

All you need are yourself and 3 friends (4 students minimum) who wish to take 5 Spanish classes. The location, frequency, day and time is up to you! Contact us at info@spanishto.com or 416-782-8219 to check availability.

We offer evening and day classes.

Course Outline for Beginner`s Classes.
Upon completion of these courses you will be able to:

Beginners I
  1. Greet and say good-bye in Spanish.
  2. Introduce yourself and others in Spanish.
  3. Ask questions about people, places and things.
  4. Use of basic vocabulary:The family, numbers, colours and directions.
  5. Tell time in Spanish.
  6. Place an order in a restaurant and learn to
    shop using the Spanish language. (Intro level)
  7. Master basic grammar and pronunciation.
  8. Start to read and write in Spanish.

 

Beginners II

  1. Ask and give directions in Spanish (using "hay") .
  2. Count to One Million in Spanish.
  3. Talk about the weather in Spanish.
  4. Express likes and dislikes in Spanish.
  5. Express daily routines in Spanish.
  6. Use Spanish verbs (To Be, To Have, To Go, To Like) Intro level
  7. Express yourself in Present and past tense. Intro level

 

Beginners III

 

  1. Talk and plan your vacations
  2. Going Shopping.
  3. Renting an apartament.
  4. Going to the doctor.
  5. Banking and money.
  6. Describing people.

 

Beginners IV

 

  1. Dates and invitations.
  2. Making future plans.
  3. Talk about past actions.
  4. Giving instructions.
  5. Different past tenses in Spanish
